Downhome Discount is a locally owned family business.  The Ruckert’s grew up in Amish country where discount stores were common and would shop there for the great savings and variety they offered.  Desiring to open a business they could operate as a family and seeing the benefits a discount store would offer their community, they opened Downhome Discount in August of 2017.

Offering quality products at affordable prices they prioritize a welcoming atmosphere and truly enjoy what they do, helping people save money and live better lives.
